I started exploring how the formal language of a flower could be transformed into an object. I was inspired by a flower called Trimezia Northiana. Its delicate beauty and unique color palette, especially its striking golden-brown hue, sparked a connection to an oil lamp I had seen at the Technology Museum in Helsinki.

The collection is based on the design brief " The Eternal Healing Power " given by Finlayson. I found inspiration for the collection in the healing power of Finnish nature, light, and especially the flowers and plants we enjoy in spring and summer. Old Finnish proverbs, which appear in the Viisaudet pattern, also served as inspiration.
